While at the Bahamas International Film Festival this week I had the chance to chat with Daryl Hannah, who was given a "career achievement award" at a reception Saturday night. A devoted environmentalist, Hannah has spent much of the past year highlighting the work of various like minded individuals, whose work to stymie climate change, create renewable energy sources or make artwork out of plastic garbage bags make up the content of the weekly doc pieces she posts on her website dhlovelife.
