KinoRox Productions
The underground world of Ukrainian Folk Dancing is explored in the feature film FOLK!, produced by Roxy Toporowych and Jeremy McCarter.

FOLK! follows the unique, high-flying and seemingly "underground" world of Ukrainian folk dancing in present-day New York City. An often funny look at what it's like to grow up in a Ukrainian-American community, keeping ties to your heritage and culture in an increasingly modern world. Following the untimely passing of their choreographer and matriarch, Roma Pryma Bohachevsky, retired dancers fly from far and wide to rejoin the company (Syzokryli) and prepare for a sold out performance at Lincoln Center. With tensions high and bodies out of shape, the dancers struggle through an uphill battle of body and mind.

Also featuring Ukrainian dance troupes from Philadelphia, Cleveland and Kieve, Ukraine.
