The Label Movie
A murdered federal witness, a dirty cop, allegations of money laundering, extortion and fraud. Just another day in the life at the label. Watch it all dramatically unfold, as the hip-hop cops launch an investigation and discover that the man they are chasing is the CEO of a hip-hop record label. Nick Silva stars as "Big" Mack "Money", the CEO of Sinsistar Records. Mack and his sexy and deadly Lieutenant, Star (Fia Roan) make a name for themselves by saturating the streets with underground rap and "keeping it gangsta." The Label's extraordinary sales numbers soon catch the eye of Suncoast Records A&R Rep, Rick Kozar (brilliantly played by Jason Jett), who inks Mack to a multi-million dollar distribution deal. The label's quick rise to the top also attracts the interest from local and federal law enforcement and a secret federal hip-hop task force launches an investigation. They work night and day to monitor and infiltrate Mack's organization. Rising to superstar hip-hop status has its good days and its bad. Fake players and snitches clamor to take Sinistar Records out. Haters and feds try to play Mack. They're all about to learn a hard lesson: "He aint' the one." "The Label," is a startling behind -the-scens expose' of the hip-hop industry that keeps it krunk, gangster, and is definitely ballin' out of control.

The Lady from Sockholm
Set in 1943 during Wool War II, the film noir feature "The Lady from Sockholm" was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia on 16mm. The story centers on Terrence M. Cotton, a washed-up sock puppet gumshoe who finds himself knee-high in debt and praying for a big case. When Heelda Brum, a finely spun piece of high-end hosiery, hires Cotton to find Darnell, her missing mate, Cotton takes the case but the heat gets turned on high when Darnell's unraveled remains are discovered. In traditional film noir style, as Cotton threads the strands of the crime together he encounters a bevy of unscrupulous characters, but he sticks to the investigation like static cling. "The Lady from Sockholm" received a 2002 Slamdance Screenplay Competition Award of Excellence (Top 10 of 1,500). Screenwriter Lynn Lamousin also acted as producer and executive producer, coordinating and financing the project through her creative firm KITTYBOY Creations, Inc.

The Letter
"...A thoughtful, historically grounded, and utterly absorbing look at a quintessential American experience." *This film is recommended. —Hazel-Dawn Dumpert, LA Weekly "Ziad H. Hamzeh's THE LETTER is an especially dramatic work of polemical reportage on racism in America. Hamzeh splices together participants' comments as a substitute for conventional narration — an interesting approach to nonfiction narrative. It serves as the dramatic build to neo-Nazi outsiders barnstorming the town [Lewiston, Maine] to exploit local hatred. A study of the American Dream in collapse." —Robert Koehler, Variety "...A timely, thoughtful, and riveting chronicle... Ziad Hamzeh juggles an impressive number of subjects, including anti-Muslim sentiment, the neo-Nazi movement, institutionalized prejudice, and the nation's immigrant heritage... Hamzeh keeps the ideas flying and the story building... As an affecting work of compassionate craftsmanship, THE LETTER delivers." —Rick Kisonak, Film Threat Magazine "Structured like a narrative feature about the events leading to a violent showdown... Hamzeh uses filmmaking techniques action-movie directors use to show the growing tension and arming-up of the opposing forces. It feels like 'Gangs of New York' acted out by local police and ordinary people." —Glenn Andreiev, Films In Review

Love From the Machine
"Love from the Machine" probes Douglas Yates's assertion that "People who are sensible about love are incapable of it." The protagonist, idealistic James Chase, finds that the more he thinks about the hackneyed romanticism that surrounds love in the modern world, the more he becomes disillusioned with his own relationship. His descent into nihilism is juxtaposed with the reverse journey of his misanthropic friend, Neil, who lets down his intellectual defenses and finds himself drawn into the experience of true love.
