I wrote about this last week on Netscape:

When I talked to Rachel, she seemed genuinely shaken, and she told me that Magnolia will definitely honor the pastor’s request not to book the film in Bismarck. Of course it’s a sad and extremely problematic issue that the film has caused these problems for its subjects, but looking at it academically, it’s really an amazing testament that filmmaking can still be a powerful art form.
